At OSCA, community participation, audience engagement and building is a responsive and flexible apparatus that encourages the local community to engage through accessible processes and outcomes.

OSCA facilitates this as a strategic process which positions artists in direct contact with local participants through thematic engagement that extends out and beyond the more conventional sites of urban cityscapes and centralised arts hubs into the gardens, creeks and laneways of suburbia and beyond.

By placing a renewed focus on the relationship between the public, artist and curator in the local domain OSCA aims to make contemporary art practice visible to the greater community of South Australia.

We invite you to shape it with us.
