Rebecca McEwan is a multidisciplinary artist working in a variety of media including drawing, encaustic wax, sculpture and installation. Her work explores the intrinsic human connection with the natural world at both a macroscopic and microscopic level, exploring the visceral response it generates. Since graduating from the Adelaide College of the Arts in 2016, Rebecca has exhibited widely in group shows and solo exhibitions within South Australia. She has undertaken residencies at Sauerbier House, F.L.O.A.T. and the State Herbarium and was recently a finalist in the Heysen Prize for Landscape. www.rebeccamcewan.com
