As part of the 2018 SALA Festival, 6 of the locally made MONGO SUITS were performed across a number of key SALA events including the opening and closing gatherings plus the sculpture days at Government House. Participating artists: Jane Macilwain, Kaspar Schmidt Munn, Cinzia Schincariol, Cynthia Schwertsik, Jane Skeer, Henry Jock Walker & Greta Wyatt.

In September, 2 suits made by Francois Knoetze in collaboration with Matt Schilcock and Paul Gazzola will be on display as part of the UNMAKING WASTE International Conference and Exhibition hosted by the China-Australia Centre for Sustainable Urban Development and the University of South Australia.

Exhibition opens on 20th September at 6:30pm and runs until October 19. Open from 11-2pm week days (except for Wednesdays).

All suits were made as part of The Art of Mongo workshops with South African artist Francois Knoetze. A 2018 OSCA project supported by Arts South Australia, The City of Port Adelaide Enfield and The City of Adelaide.
