In March we started a series of projects using documentary theatre, photographic installation, abstract portraiture and performance interviews with residents and users of the Payneham Rd, Marden corner. A busy suburban shopping and community services area, the corner has increasing numbers of people from China, Tonga, Korea, India and Kurdistan moving into the area. Workshops and sessions result in an exhibition and performance using the facilities in and around our Marden base. The first of these projects The Marriage of Kuronoz and Harmony was an intervention into the activities of Harmony Day. This intervention also forms part of a larger global art work – Kuronoz.
